Hi, I’m Shiraz (he/him), and I create science-themed animation and illustration that uses a strong narrative approach and features character-driven storytelling.

Somehow I’m also writing short stories and a science-fantasy novel—really, really slowly.

I previously won a Peabody Award as a radio producer with American Public Media, and later produced and coordinated documentary films at the National Film Board of Canada.

In my spare time, I enjoy tabletop roleplaying games, and I cheer for the Montreal Canadiens hockey team. I live near Toronto, Canada. (Et je parle français!)
